Maintenance

The following maintenance consulting services can be provided for existing vertical transportation:

  • Comprehensive assessment and report. This service provides a detailed site review of the equipment, providing a report that provides the overall condition of the equipment, maintenance evaluation, Code and Accessibility compliance, and life expectancy with estimated costs and recommended schedule for major upgrades and modernization for planning purposes. The value of this service is that it provides the Client with a capital planning tool, and it identifies deficient maintenance that needs to be addressed that can improve safety, reliability, and reduce unplanned costs.

  • Creation of new maintenance agreement. This service creates an independent performance-based agreement that has specific requirements and terms that better protect an Owner's interests compared to maintenance provider's own agreements. The services include a technical review of the proposals received by invited maintenance providers to ensure the company with the best overall approach and capabilities is awarded the project. Additionally, we are involved until the new Agreement is place, including attendance at a final meeting with the successful team and onsite staff to discuss requirements included in the maintenance agreement and to ensure all steps are completed for a smooth transition.

  • Ongoing consulting services, including periodic site assessments, participation in meetings between the Client and maintenance provider, review of invoices, repair proposals, or any other issues, and evaluating performance  including actual work completed compared to required work. These services are intended to provide a more proactive approach to our involvement during maintenance of equipment., with the primary objectives of improved reliability and performance, reduced Owner risk in terms of liability, and reduced unplanned costs.
