New Construction Consulting

Comprehensive consulting services throughout design and construction on a new project include the following services

• Traffic analysis and simulations. Ensures vertical transportation meets the functional needs and performance requirements of the building

​

• Vertical Transportation drawings. Provides design coordination information to major design disciplines to minimize scope gap that can result in change orders and schedule delays during construction.    

​

• Review of progress drawings, collaboration, and attendance at team meetings during design. Code-requirements and manufacturer requirements are identified to minimize scope gap or necessary changes that can result in change orders and schedule delays during construction. 

​

• Creation of comprehensive specification sections. Provides specific design and performance requirements. 

​

• Technical review of proposals. Helps to ensure that the elevator contractor with the best overall proposal and capabilities is awarded, provides a technical assessment of clarifications, bid alternates, and proposed products, and assists the General Contractor with determining differences in related work requirements of bidders. 

​

• Construction administration services, including review of submittals, RFIs, change orders, progress reviews, final reviews, follow-up reviews, review of close out documents, and assistance with any other issues. These services help ensure that the equipment that is installed meets the requirements in the Contract Documents and is properly adjusted to provide safe and reliable operation. Our involvement during construction also assists with accurately tracking installation progress compared to the project schedule and can minimize schedule delays by identifying issues prior to final inspections by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. • Warranty review. The value of completing an assessment prior to the end of the warranty period is to ensure that the equipment is still performing in accordance with Contract Document requirements, and that it is being properly maintained.
